For over 25 years, Craig Flanigan aka DJ Craig, has been performing in various clubs, venues and festivals around Adelaide quietly supplying the niche markets of INDIE and RETRO music and establishing himself as the leader for both genres in the city.

His residencies have included Control, Jive, Boltz, Proscenium, Supermild, The Union Hotel, Cry Baby, The Austral, Crown and Sceptre, Biggies at Bertram, Brick City Bar, Chihuahua, Cry Baby, Distill, Boom Boom Room & Shotz just to name a few. He also has played at prestigious festivals like The Adelaide Festival, Fringe, Beach Life, Spin Off and CheeseFest.

Currently he is the resident DJ at The Elephant British Pub every Friday, playing an eclectic mix of music from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s.

DJ Craig also runs, promotes and is the sole DJ for the legendary Gosh! indie night (previously at Jive), that runs periodically. Gosh! has been running since 2003, and is the longest running indie night in Australia.

Craig is known for playing music from the 40s-80s with retro, and 80s-now for indie with genres as diverse as disco, soul, funk, indie pop, indie rock, jump blues, popular jazz, British Invasion, 60s girl groups, new wave, post punk, electro-indie, rock and roll, blues, vintage R&B, swing etc.

What really sets him apart is that he always mixes live, using physical media, so it creates a visual element and ensures sets are dynamic responding to the crowd before him.

Craig is also available for private shows, price POA. However Fridays and Saturdays will attract a surcharge as he has to pay someone to fill in for his residencies.
